We have made managing filters easier. From now, you can change the filter type directly for the filters list. Also, filters are grouped now, so adding an event or property filter shows you only possible filters for the section:

Starting today, LiveSession lets you watch your live users with almost no-delay streaming. Clicking on the "Go live" button, allow you to turn on the live preview: 

To give you more information, we display if the user is active or the user's mouse isn’t moving (inactive), or the user is in another tab (unfocused):

This functionality and our customer support software integrations like Intercom, LiveChat, or Zendesk can make your support process easier.

Today, we are excited to announce a major change to LiveSession – a new and cleaner user interface! Our team has worked hard to make LiveSession easier to use and more visually pleasing.

The new UI enhances the user experience and makes navigating LiveSession more intuitive.

We’ve also made subtle changes to the design and color palette, resulting in a more attractive and professional look.

LiveSession allows you to create business-friendly names for the most crucial events in your application. This makes data more understandable for you and your team. For example, if there is an event that defines a click on an element with text “Sing up”,  you can define it as a “Sign up” event. 

Defined Events can be created under the Settings tab. Once created, Defined Devents can be used like any other filter:

We have improved search filtering. You can now easily exclude sessions from the results based on filters and focus on finding the results most relevant to your needs.

To use this, select the "Exclude" option in the search panel and choose the filter condition to exclude sessions with this value from the results.

Good news! Rage Clicks, Error Clicks, Console Errors, and Network Errors are now supported in Alerts notifications. You can get instant Slack notifications about errors that occurred in your app:

Connect Slack integration to LiveSession and start receiving important notifications. 

The timeline now provides a more clear and more intuitive way to view inactive moments on the page during the user's visit. Each inactivity is now displayed for the whole session instead of the current page. Also, we added page icons to mark when the page was changed or reloaded. 

We made security improvements to protect your LiveSession code from being added to unauthorized sites by creating a list of trusted domains.

Using trusted domains, you can create a list of domains that you know and trust. Only those domains will be allowed to start recording. It won't work if someone tries to add your script to any website outside your trusted list.

You can set up your trusted domain in Settings -> Websites -> (chose website) -> Settings -> Trusted Domains. 

By default, the list is empty, which means every domain is allowed. 

From now on, you can see the list of sessions for users who did not complete a step of the funnel. With this functionality, you can understand the reason for the drop-off and make changes to improve your funnel conversion rate.

The user with the owner role has the most powerful privileges with access to all LiveSession sections. There can be only one owner at a time, so in some cases, you might want to transfer your organization ownership to another person. From now on, you can do it by switching the user role to "Owner".
