We made security improvements to protect your LiveSession code from being added to unauthorized sites by creating a list of trusted domains.

Using trusted domains, you can create a list of domains that you know and trust. Only those domains will be allowed to start recording. It won't work if someone tries to add your script to any website outside your trusted list.

You can set up your trusted domain in Settings -> Websites -> (chose website) -> Settings -> Trusted Domains. 

By default, the list is empty, which means every domain is allowed. 

From now on, you can see the list of sessions for users who did not complete a step of the funnel. With this functionality, you can understand the reason for the drop-off and make changes to improve your funnel conversion rate.

The user with the owner role has the most powerful privileges with access to all LiveSession sections. There can be only one owner at a time, so in some cases, you might want to transfer your organization ownership to another person. From now on, you can do it by switching the user role to "Owner".

We have released an easier way to invite teammates to your team. Instead of inviting each member by email, you can easily generate a link and share it with your team to get access to LiveSession.

LiveSession now supports Shadow DOM! This technology becoming more popular nowadays, and we decided the implement support for it.

The Shadow DOM is a hidden DOM tree that can be used to encapsulate a part of a document. 

With LiveSession, you can now take advantage of the Shadow DOM and still get a perfect session replay experience. 

We're excited to announce that Alerts notifications are now available!  

Integrate LiveSession with Slack and get instant notifications about important events made by users. This integration sends notifications from LiveSession Alert to Slack.

Recently we have made some changes regarding how LiveSession is tracking visited URLs in the recorded sessions. 

Dynamic URLs

We've added support for dynamic changes of URLs to fully support the routing of modern Single Page Applications.  Every change of URL is now added as a "Visit" event and shown on the events' timeline:

Filters

This change affects the filters. From now, you can search for sessions with dynamic URL changes. 

We have also added to URL filters support for the fragment(#) and query search:

Previously used "query param" and "query values" was deprecated.

Now, you can edit your segments directly from the Sessions view. Simply make your changes to the filters, and click "save" or "save as...".

We've also made some improvements to the way segments are displayed. Now, you can see filters, remove a single filter or clear all.
